Even Realities G1B vs Halliday Glasses

Both are camera-free glasses built around a small green display for glanceable text. The Halliday is lighter (35 g against 44 g) and $100 cheaper. The Even Realities G1B puts its display in the lens rather than at the edge of your view, and is rated for longer between charges: about 1.5 days, against 12 hours. Both makers have since released a second generation.

Choose the Even Realities G1B if…

  • You want the display in the lens itself, a 640×200 green waveguide.
  • You want the longest time between charges, about 1.5 days by the maker's figure.
  • You want a choice of assistant: Even AI, ChatGPT or Perplexity.

Choose the Halliday Glasses if…

  • Weight matters most: 35 g, the lightest frame in our table.
  • You'd prefer the display at the edge of your view rather than in the lens.
  • Price matters: $499 against $599.
